A quick reminder to everyone that breakfast is this Saturday at Bob Evan’s in Viera at 8:00am .
For those of you who don’t know the J.A.M. committee have devised a new award. They are calling it R.F.S.U. Last month I was the lucky recipient of the award. I think they gave it to me first due to them wanting to keep with tradition since I received the J.A.M. award first. The big question I have is what does R.F.S.U. stand for? The committee never filled us in on that. I have a couple of guesses like Really F_ _ king Screwed Up, or since it has a rat on it does it stand for Rat Fink Screw Up? To be honest I think the old guys forgot. Following tradition I have made some modifications to the award. Show up on Saturday to see how I have improved it and maybe you will be luck enough to have the award bestowed on you.
I also wanted to inform everyone I resolved the issue of not everyone receiving the e-mails. It seems Bright House in their infinite wisdom put the hosting company we are hosted through on a blacklist without bothering to tell anyone. It seems someone that is being hosted by the same company as we are was spamming. So instead of contacting the hosting company Bright House just black listed them. I have since had the block removed. I’m sure most of you have heard by now Penny Chambliss lost her battle with cancer. Mike and Penny had not been very active with the group as of lately but have always been very near and dear to our hearts. Our prayers go out to Mike and his family. A service will be held this Saturday at 11:00 am at Calvary Chapel. The address is 2955 Minton Rd. Melbourne, FL 32904 In lieu of flowers Penny requested that donations be made to either the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, or the Williams Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. We have decided to postpone breakfast by an hour this Saturday so that members can go straight from breakfast to the church.
The JAM Is No More

For those of you who didn't know or wasn't there the JAM Award went up for auction on January 28th. Bill Bennett had made a great addition to the award by adding functioning tail lights. He even went as far as using a Lucas switch to turn them on and off. Way to go Bill! The bidding was heated and tense but Sharon Collett was the winning bidder. At the end of it all Sharon stroked a check of $105.00 dollars to Grace Fellowship Church and walked away with our beloved JAM Award. Ken said he was willing to go more but figured out it was going to his house anyway. Little does Ken know Sharon will get to choose where to put the award in the house.
